Prof. Giorgio Nardone

Founder, together with Paul Watzlawick, and director of the Centro di Terapia Strategica (CTS), psychologist and psychoterapist at CTS, director of the Post Graduate School of Brief Strategic Therapy at CTS Arezzo, officially acknowledged by Miur (D.M. 16/11/2000) and the Strategic Communication and Problem Solving School in Arezzo and Milan.

He is also professor of Brief Psychotherapy at the Post Graduate School of Clinical Psychology, University of Siena, Italy.

He represents the most renowned representative among the researchers of the so-called Palo Alto School .
His research in clinical field really have led to the setting up of innovative as well as effective models in Brief Therapy for specific patologies (panic attack, phobia, obsessive-compulsive and eating disorders).
Many reseachers, professionals and therapists all over the world refer to
his creative as well as systematic models.

In the field of Communication he has set up several advanced techniques that proved to meet a particular success in counseling, coaching and training.

He has published numerous articles and 23 books translated in various languages which presents the results of all the researches setting up at Centro di Terapia Strategica in Arezzo.

He is the coordinator of "Brief Strategic and Systemic Therapy European Network" and of "Brief Strategic and Systemic Therapy European Review"

He is the director of the Brief Therapy Series for Ponte alle Grazie Publishhing House, Milan (Longanesi Group).
