TERAPIA BREVE STRATEGICA

The strategic approach has developed in psychotherapy, showing how human problems, in spite of their complexity and persistence, do not need long therapy and complicated solutions.

The results obtained, thanks to treatment based on well built and applied strategic interventions, show how it is possible to resolve effectively and in a short time most psychological problems. Such an art to solve complicate pathologies with apparently simple solutions is the synthesis of old knowledge, such as the Hellenic rhetoric of persuasion and the Chinese art of stratagem, and modern knowledge such as constructive epistemology, the studies on hypnosis and suggestion, the strategic problem solving.

In this volume, through the contributions of the most important international figures, for the first time a complete review of theoretical and applicatory aspects of brief strategic therapy is represented.

Some essays represent real "classics" of brief therapy and its philosophy; others are innovative contributions explaining the results of the most recent empiric-experimental research in the clinic field.
