 The fear as pathology is a monster invented by us from which then we are scared and persecuted, therefore, as there are not limits to our fantasy, limits does not exist to ours capacity to create fears by ourselves; however, just as our construction, the pathological fear can be unstructured. In metaphorical way, if in my mind I evoke a ghost and then and escape, this one will follow me scaring me to death; but, if after having evoked it, I do not escape, but I touch it, this will disappear. In this book, brilliant and of pleasant reading, Giorgio Nardone guides the reader in a travel to the discovery of that " unknown famous one " that is a "pathological fear " in its variegate shapes. However the author does not limit itself in this text to illustrate the characteristics of such pathologies, but states in clear and accessible way the most effective and validated therapeutic methods, by means of enlightening examples, metaphors, stories of real therapies. The scope of this text is to clear to the great public which are the shapes of pathological fear, as they formed, as they maintain and as they can be resolved in short times.
