Editorial
The ideation of the Brief Strategic and Systemic Therapy Review embodies
one of the first and the most significant initiatives of the European Network.
Issued once a year, the Journal proposes to put together a wide variety of
articles relative to the field of brief strategic and systemic therapy,
subdivided in different sections so as to divulge the most significant
contributions carried out by the most-worthy European and non-European
researchers and practitioners.
The major objective of this Journal is to inspire further interaction between
professional training, practice, theory and research since all these fields are
essential elements for the further advancement of psychotherapy and
problem solving.
Therefore we invite all colleagues to put forward their theoretical notions,
research results, original ideas, individual generalities, stimulating debates
and clinical experiences that can inspire other epistemologists, researchers
and practitioners.
The first issue of the Brief Strategic and Systemic European Review
includes a selection of papers presented at the First European Conference
(Arezzo, 6th-9th November 2003) chosen by an outstanding Scientific
Committee to signify the “state of the art” of Brief Strategic and Systemic
Therapy in Europe at this moment in time.
Our hope is that this initiative will help grow and develop not only the Art
of brief strategic and systemic Therapy but all those who chose this splendid
Art as their own profession and style of life.

"European Review of Brief Strategic and Systemic Therapy" publishes a wide variety of articles relevant to the field of brief strategic and systemic therapy. We strive to foster interactions among training, practice, theory, and research because all are essential to psychotherapy. Authors are asked to submit theoretical contributions, research studies, novel ideas, the controversial, as well as examples of practice-relevant issues that would stimulate other theorists, researchers, and/ or practitioners. We include the widest scope of applications to inform our readers.
